Richard Mille & McLaren Automotive presents the RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph
Richard Mille and McLaren Automotive present their first jointly commissioned timepiece, the RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph, at the Geneva International Motor Show.
Created in close collaboration between McLaren Design Director Rob Melville and Richard Mille engineer Fabrice Namura, the RM 11-03 McLaren replica watches for sale has been in development since McLaren Automotive and Richard Mille partnered last year, with a shared focus on unique design, use of new materials and modern craftsmanship.
"The idea was to take on a real technical challenge and come up with something more than just a dial with an inscription. I found Rob Melville's design for the 720S to be beautiful and we wanted to give the RM 11-03 McLaren the same beauty and utility curve,” Namura said.
These influences, as well as design cues borrowed from McLaren's luxury sports car and supercar range, are reflected in this special timepiece. The case of the RM 11-03 McLaren is made of Carbon TPT® interwoven with Orange Quartz TPT®, creating an extremely durable and lightweight case while paying homage to McLaren's synonymous color. Carbon TPT® enhances the mechanical properties of RM 11-03 best replica watches and provides resistance to harsh environments.
Titanium buttons on the Carbon TPT® case echo the distinctive headlight design of the McLaren 720S. A titanium insert, shaped like the intake snorkel of the iconic McLaren F1 and bearing the McLaren logo, adorns the bezel. The intricate grade 5 titanium crown is shaped like a lightweight McLaren wheel. The McLaren Speedmark logo is incorporated into a rubber strap developed exclusively for this edition.

The counter is immediately reset to zero, allowing a quick restart of the stopwatch function. Powered by two barrels mounted in parallel and a variable inertia balance, the movement has a power reserve of 55 hours. The barrel-shaped winding is ensured by a variable-geometry rotor, allowing personalized winding according to the wearer's activity level. The fact that a racing chassis must consistently exhibit enormous torque resistance while remaining lightweight inspired the brand, which made these requirements its own to produce the baseplate of this PVD-treated grade 5 titanium movement and bridge plates to ensure the necessary rigidity and perfect operation of the running train.
